Schools out for the Summer!

Summer holidays are upon us, many of the kids have now finished school for 6 weeks, so what plans have you made to keep them entertained this holiday period? We take a look what’s happening in our community!

Sutton Tennis Academy

Why not send your children to a well-established indoor sports facility. It boasts 29 tennis courts, a children’s gym, a child friendly restaurant/cafe, free wifi and on-site car parking, sports physiotherapy and a children’s day nursery from 2 to 5 years.

Suitable for ages: Young Children (4-8), Older Children (9-12) and Teenagers (13-18)

Morden Park Pool

With the Heatwave at the moment a swimming pool will always be on your mind. If it’s some poolside fun you’re looking for then don’t miss the Wet and Wild sessions where a range of floats are let loose in the pool to inspire creative and water-based play! For the grown ups there is a main pool is 33.3m long and is ideal for ‘serious swimmers’ or those looking to work on their fitness or technique.

Suitable for ages: Young Children (4-8), Older Children (9-12) and Teenagers (13-18)

Honeywood Museum

“Dinosaur Summer” is happening at the Honeywood Museum from Wednesday 24th July to the Sunday 1st September. Be dazzled by dinosaurs this summer holiday. Add dinosaurs to Honeywood’s ‘Jurassic Park’ 3D collage, hatching dinosaur craft, variety of trails throughout the holidays and lots more!

Sutton Trampoline & Play Park

Take the kids for a Summer bounce at Better, Sutton Trampoline & Play Park where you’ll find Foam pits, slides, Under 8’s play park and a Cafe area. For full details, dates and times visit Better ExtremeOpen from 10am – 5pm.

Morden Hall

There are several activities over Summer for all the family. New this year they have a spectacular theatre production from award- winning aerial theatre company Whispering Woods. For the kids they are running theatre workshops You can also take part in one of Morden Hall Park’s favourite traditions. For £2.00 you’ll be able to use one of our plastic ducks to join in a race down the river (Monday 26th August 11-3pm).
